MASTER AND DIPLOMA SEMINAR: BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS
In this seminar the participants will have the opportuntiy to get an overview of the research in the field of Business Information Systems. In addition, the participants gain experience with the techniques of scientific writing.
The BIT Institute gives students at the University of Mannheim also the opportunity to deliver their study services in form of seminar papers in collaboration with our industry partners.
Possible topics for seminar papers are:
Open Source BI
In-Memory Databases
Social Media BI
Cost-Benefit analysis of BI
BI Strategy
Process Support by BI
But also your own topic suggestions can be considered.
As the number of participants is limited, registration for the seminar is required.
Important Dates:
Registration period: until 17 February 2012, 11:59pm (midnight) via email
Kick-off meeting in early March
Submission of term paper: no later than 04.05.2012, 12:00am (noon)
Delivery of the presentation: not later than 11.05.2012, 12:00am (noon)
Seminar presentation on 18.05.2012, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
